Old Colony Players is a thriving community theatre company who calls Valdese home. Artfully performing since 1967, OCP is based in the Old Rock School, and annually presents the 4th longest running outdoor drama in NC, "From This Day Forward".

Waldensian Presbyterian Church
The history of the Waldensian Presbyterian Church is so intertwined with the history of the town of Valdese that it is impossible to study one without embracing the other. In education and industry, as well as in the religious life of the community, the Church has been and continues to be the center of Waldensian life in Valdese.

The Rotary Club of Valdese Zone 33, District 7670 was organized September 1947. Meetings are held at the Old Rock School Waldensian Room every Tuesday at noon.
