The duo has placed several tracks at the top of the charts on Roots, SiriusXM, Bluegrass and Gospel charts. They have received multiple nominations from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and Inspirational Country Music (ICM). Their music videos “Wildflower” and “Tennessee Flat Top Box” and most recently “Every Time You Leave” were heavily featured on outlets including CMT, CMT Edge, GAC, Bluegrass Ridge TV and The Bluegrass Situation. TV appearances include PBS, Great American Gospel, The Bluegrass Road, RFD-TV, Blue Highways TV, Songs of the Mountain, Woodsongs, Larry’s Country Diner and Music City Roots.
2020 saw the power duo land multiple Top 10 singles as well as hold the #1 slot on the Roots Music Reports “Top 50 Contemporary Bluegrass Chart” 5 out of 6 weeks in a row over the Summer. And on October 1st, Brooke was named the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year for the 4th consecutive year. This tied her with the legendary Alison Krauss for the third most Female Vocalist wins in total and second most consecutive wins in the association’s history behind legend and Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent."
The Old Rock School in Valdese, North Carolina has become well-known throughout the nation for its outstanding bluegrass concerts. The 500 seat auditorium is the perfect place to hear all of your favorites. All of us at the Old Rock School are very excited about the 2022-2023 season, featuring an impressive lineup of talented bands. The handicap entrance is located at the side of the building (elevator).
