The 55th season chronicles the struggles of the Waldensian people, known as “People of the Valleys”, from the Cottian Alps of Northern Italy as they seek religious and civil freedom. Share in the heroic journey of faith, hope and courage that led to twenty-nine original settlers founding the beautiful town of Valdese, North Carolina in 1893.
